I bought hp pavilion 360 convertible a year ago on January 2 and now its just January 8 and today after just about a week of my warranty expiry my battery has got dead and msg flashes to replace it ...i don't understand this issue ...

Please give us the exact model number. Have you run a diagnostic test on the battery? Batteries can and do fail at various times in their life. One year is very short. I am going to also escalate this and see if maybe some assistance is available from HP. But you are going to need to have the battery replaced.
