Product: Hp elitebook 840 g1
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hello, I have a problem with hp elitebook 840 g1 .

The battery charge does not exceed 37 ,And when it reaches the value 37 it is written ("plugged in not charging")
I checked the battery with "Hp hardware Diagnostics UEFI" but the scan fails and is written

"Battery status: Replace (47)
Logic state: corrupt capacity (47)
Failure id: 9086WW-789A04-MFGH6K-C08603"


Please is there a solution to this problem

HP Recommended

Sounds like the ac adapter is good. The battery is bad. Trying downloading and installing the "HP Support Assistant" or you should have it pre installed on your system in your start menu. Based on the Failure ID, thats a hardware code. If under warranty contact HP
