Hello,

I bought laptop on 2017.

On 2019, I suddenly payed attention to the deformity of the laptop body, so I opened the laptop and saw that the battery become bigger and totally deformed with damage to internal mechanical parts.

So I bought a new original battery from HP and installed it again. Few weeks ago, my new battery stopped working and now I see the body deformation again.

Is it something wrong with this model batteries?

From now and on, do I have every year now, to spent 200 usd for a new battery?

The solution you provided doesn't help

I see that not only me have a problem with HP OMEN battery.

I am now starting the circle of consultations again with HP.

Yes, they contacted me and sent me to the hp repair shop in my City in Korea.

I went there and I asked to replace battery, but in Korea they don't have this model.

So he just closed it back and returned to me.

That's all.

I called central office in Seoul, but they don't have this battery too.

I wrote again here, but other support guy, just wrote that he escalated it and no reply since then

Did you purchase the computer in Korea or in any other country?

 

If the battery is not available at the HP service center then I recommend you check online.

First, I tried to find the battery online, but I couldn't find it.

Second, what will be the difference, from what I did a year ago. I already have 2 swallen batteries. I want the battery be replaced officially, then I will have the proof, that the battery swallen and if the third one will be swallen again maybe HP will start to think how to solve it .

If you have purchased the computer in a different country then the battery for the laptop will be available only in that region. I recommend you check in the country where you have purchased the laptop.
