Hi,

Does anyone know if the BatteryCare feature is avaiable for the HP Envy x360 laptops that have the new AMD Ryzen 4000 chips (e.g. 4700U) ?

 

It seems some HP laptops do have it, but some do not:

Any HP employees here? - Would be such a time-saver knowing the answer rather than buying one just ot find out it doesn't and then having to return it 🙂

I understand that you are battery care function for the 

 

HP has locked a few settings on your computer which are being managed by the system configuration as the device is configured to its optimal performance.

 

There's no way of resetting or changing these locked settings via HP articles or assistance, you could unlock and make changes at your own discretion using 3rd party tools,

however, HP doesn't recommend the same nor has information about the tools used.

I hope you understand.
