Product: Bios update for HP G62 Notebook PC WA906UA
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have been searching for a BIOS update for my HP notebook but the support website doesn't recognize my SN or product ID.

Where can I check if there is a BIOS update available?

Hi:

 

HP retires support for PC's such as yours that are 10 years old or more.

 

You wouldn't be able to update the BIOS since you are running W10 anyway.

 

It was only written to be run in W7, and updating it in W10 could permanently wreck the notebook.

 

If you want to reinstall W7, here is the last BIOS update HP released for that model...
