Hello, I saw that on https://support.hp.com there is an update of the Bios but HP support assistant does not propose it to me, it is advisable to proceed to this update:
Fix and enhancements:
Provides security of UEFI code.
NOTE: HP strongly recommends that you change your BIOS version.
I wanted to know, to be sure, should I proceed to this update?

Hi,
Happy New Year. The flash recovery disk will not have the Bios on it. The Bios is apart from the Operating System. The only way to go back to older Bios is by flashing the Bios with older version.
Hope it helps,
David

BIOS updates do not always go well using HP Support Assistant and I believe HP has been working on it not doing them. BIOS updates always carry a certain amount of risk so it is best, imo, to do them manually if desired.
Mine is about 2 updates behind on BIOS versions but I have no problems that require a fix so I am holding where I am.

Hi,
Yes you can download and update your Bios as is recommended by HP. HP support assistant can sometimes take a while to propose updated drivers.
Hope it helps,
David
