Hi,
I am also looking for the latest BIOS versions released by HP for my two other DV7 3000-series laptops—which are also obsolete—featuring Intel motherboards with first-generation Core i7 processors and NVIDIA GeForce GT230M and 105M graphics.
The first is a Pavilion DV7-3080ef.
The second is a Pavilion DV7-3125ef.
Thanks in advance.

@kzapar,

HP no longer provides driver/BIOS download support site as your models reached the end of support life long ago, but HP server still stores BIOS files for your models.

Below is the latest BIOS file (F.1D) for dv7-3000 series (Intel).

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp50501-51000/sp50586.exe

See the readme file for sp50586.

Hi,  Rita_R2 ,

Yes, I imagine so—my devices have been obsolete for years!
Fortunately, some brilliant community members pointed me to where I could find exactly what I needed to save them !

Take care and have a good day.

Hi @Rita_R2,

A question that has nothing to do with the hardware:
Where did the “Kudos/Thumbs Up"  icon go ?
I can't find it, regardless of the browser or system I use !!!

Have a good day
