As the back lit of my 4110 silver keyboard makes it hard to read the symbols on the keys,
I would like to replace the silver keyboard for a black version (as found on the Special Edition version 4159).
Anyone already any luck in finding the part number for this keyboard as it is not -yet- mentioned in the HP Service Manual ?

Reply by the service desk of HP:
"The color of the black keyboard of the 4159 Special Edition is called Ash Silver by HP"
So from the Service Manual page 43 :
"In ash silver finish for use on all computers with model numbers 13-4100 through 13-4199:"
US keyboard (833714-001) is already available and can be ordered from within the US.
Problem is I have to wait until the spare part 833714-B31 will be available in my country ...

Please also read my first post before replying.
The keyboard exists, as the 4159 has a black keyboard.
And as spares will become available, it will be possible to build one into my 4110.
So "option doesn't exist to be had" can turn into "option will be available soon"

Any one knows where to order the keyboard with part no 833714-B31 ?
I've found another option on eBay

[EDIT]
Seems this black keyboard is not available anymore ???

Today I received the black keyboard.
It took me an hour to (dis)assemble the Spectre: the 55 bolts took some time and the display connector costed me some worries.
But so happy now!

Was your original a keyboard from the netherlands region? If so, does it have a part number on there somewhere. I want to replace my Belgian Point (azerty) by a Qwerty, but on some pictures I saw there are two different top cases.

I bought a US-International version.
HP Service P/N: 806500-B31 Rev: 3A (Nederlands?)
Version: US-INTL
QWERTY like the Dutch version, but without alr-gr and the € on key 5.
Make sure you have the 'single' Enter key,
otherwise you have to buy a complete new top cover.
Or buy another QWERTY lay out with a double Enter key (UK?)...
