Hi

I have realised I have a potential swollen/bloated battery in my laptop. I can see a bump on the top left hand side of the mouse pad and when the screen is shut it doesn't sit flush.

 

I'm trying to find the spare part however not getting any luck from HP.

The manual guide - http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06612241.pdf shows the spare part number "L77034-005". I have checked partsurfer.hp.com however the part isnt available "The following part(s) you entered were not found or not orderable:<BR>L09281-855&nbsp;&nbsp;(Part is not orderable in the HP Parts Store.)"

 

When I just do a google search of L77034-005 I find websites that sell the battery however my model (HP Envy x360 15-cp00012AU) isn't listed as a "fit's model or suits battery for....".

 

Please help...

I bought this laptop late 2018 so not within warrenty.

According to the battery part number: L09281-855 The battery searched on Google should be compatible with your computer.
