Hello everyone,

I'm facing a problem with my HP Pavilion DV7-QF402EA#A2N. It was working well yesterday but when I turned it on the morning I found this error:

Wireless module not supported

........

Bluetooth Module ID (704)

However, there is nothing plugged to my laptop and I didn't change any card. I didn't touch the Bios either.

I can't seem to understand the problem. Please be a bit specific because I'm not a big tech guy.

Thank you for the help 🙂

anyone? please help :(.

[quick update]:

I removed the wifi card and the laptop is working but when I put it back on I get the same error. How do I update or fix the driver or the bios?

Hello Oussama_Yousfi,

I understand that you are getting an error that the wireless card is not supported.

Do a hard reset.
Turn the computer off.
Remove the power cable and the battery.
Hold down the power button for 15 sec while booth power sources are removed.

This should reset the hardware in the computer.

As you turn it back on tap the F10 key. This will load BIOS setup utility.
Press F9 to load defaults.
Press F10 to save and exit.

When the computer boots back up, check to see if everything is working.

If you’re still having the problem when the computer boots back up,

Go to device manager, uninstall the wireless adapter and restart the computer.

This will uninstall and reinstall the driver for the wireless.

Here is a link that will show you how to get to device manger.

I still get the error when it starts and when I press F10 as soon as it starts I see something about opening bios at the bottom but I get the error directly
