Hi @DV6-6165TX

Welcome to HP Support Community!

We noticed that this thread hasn't had any updates in a while since your original post; while this is rare, we didn't want this post to remain unanswered, so, here's the solution to your query. We hope it helps you and everyone viewing this post 😊

Let's get that sorted out for you.

  1. You can download the Bluetooth driver for your HP Pavilion dv6-6165tx Entertainment Notebook PC directly from the official HP Support website. Here’s the link to the HP drivers and software download page: HP Support
  2. Use Windows Update: Sometimes, Windows Update can automatically find and install the correct driver. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update, and check for updates.

  3. Rollback Driver Update: If the issue started after using Iobit Driver Booster Pro, you might want to rollback the driver update. Go to Device Manager, find your Bluetooth device, right-click, and select "Properties". Under the "Driver" tab, choose "Rollback Driver".

Please mark this post as “Accepted Solution” if the issue is resolved, and if you feel this reply was helpful, click “Yes”.

Thanks for being part of the HP Community!
