HP Envy 15-j140na
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hello, I have  HP Envy 15 j140na laptop and i recently did a clean install of Windows 7, downgraded from Windows 10. in that process i lost all the files i had on my pc hard drive and had to reinstall all the drivers again.

Most of the drivers have been installed and everything is working except for bluetooth.

The system shows that the bluetooth device is a Broadcomm 20702 Bluetooth 4.0 adapter. I have tried installing drivers but still not getting the bluettoth adapter to work.

I have refreed to the forums, and few solutions listed on it.

I tried installing the windows 10 drivers available for said device on windows 7 and it completes the installation, but the HP connection manager still shows as the bluetooth is disabled by device manager. I tried to connect my Tagg Sports+ bluetooth earphones but the device manager shows "bluetooth peripheral deveice" in the list without drivers.

I tried sp56715, sp71996(win 10), sp66402 drivers but none of them have worked.

Please suggest a driver such that i can connect my bluetooth earphones to my laptop.

Thank you

Hi

Is it missing the TAGG sports drivers?

The Windows/HP ones are installed?

I previously had Skullcandy SB2 bluetooth earphones and they didnt require separate drivers.

and there are no drivers available on this link, i have already checked.

The problem is when i try to install Tagg earphones using the Add Device option in the bluetooth setting, it installs, but there is a hazard logo on the device and it doesnt connect. In the device manager it shows as Bluetooth peripheral device with the same hazard logo.
