Hello. My headphone with 4.1 bluetooth is not discoverable on my laptop

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

I hear that your HP Bluetooth headset is not discoverable on your laptop. Try these quick checks:
 

  • Put the headset into pairing mode.

    For headsets, pairing mode usually starts when you slide/hold the Power switch toward the Bluetooth icon until you hear “pairing” and the LEDs flash red and blue.
     
  • Use the USB Bluetooth adapter if included:

    It states that the USB Bluetooth adapter provides the best connection, softphone functionality, and sound quality on computers.
     
  • Connect to the PC with the USB adapter:

    1. Turn on the headset
       
    2. Insert the BT700/BT600 USB adapter into the laptop
       
    3. Wait for the adapter LED to flash, then turn solid
       
  • If the USB adapter is disconnected, pair it again:

    • Put the headset in pairing mode.
       
  • Update the headset firmware/software:

    • It recommends keeping firmware up to date to improve performance and add features.
