I took my laptop to the recommended service center to have the battery replaced. They returned the laptop with screws missing and did not tell me. They lost the screws on the bottom cover. After complaining to PA consumer bureau, they sent me a kit with many screws in it, and none of the fits. My screen hinge is loose, and I'm concerned that the entire computer will fall apart.

I believe that the ball is in your court. If your recommended service center can not handle it, I believe that HP should stand behind its product, even though the warranty has expired.

Sorry to hear about the issue. May I know do you have any case number or which service centre you took the pc for repair? Please note: related to the out-of-warranty product, support will be limited. Do share the details in private, and I will try to find all the help I can.
