Hello all,
Two years after buying my HP Spectre, both shift keys started failing. They didn't work until I had pressed them around 20 times each (sometimes much much more, sometimes less, very variable). I did everything I could to repair them (updating drivers, BIOS, unchecking sticky keys, cleaning under keys, reading up on forums), nothing helped. Eventually I replaced the keyboard. That worked, for less than a year. My shift keys have just stopped working again, the exact same problem is happening, on a new keyboard.
What do you think could be the cause? I don't know what else to do. My computer doesn't "recognise" that I'm clicking on the shift buttons until suddenly it does (and then soon won't anymore).
