I've just discovered that my laptop screen is popping out of in the bottom left corner. It looks like the hinge closest to it is faulty because the same area looks distorted when I close the laptop. I looked inside it even more and it seems that the plastic around where it was attached to the hinge had broke.
Its not changing the screen quality when I'm in the middle of using it, but I assume that it will worsen over time. I've only had the laptop for a year and I don't intend to replace it anytime soon. Does anyone know how to repair this issue?

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
