HP NETBOOK Stream
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Just set up bteand new HP notebook Stream, that comes with 4GB RAM and 32 GB  storage memory.  All I've done is activate the Microsoft office and Outlook.   Nothing added.  Nothing stored in memory.  Constantly get message Low Memory, and to expand memory or get external memory.  I didn't buy this computer I run out of memory the minute I turned it on!  What's up with this?  Thoughts?  Is it defective?

Did you do a research BEFORE buying the machine ? You can not upgrade eMMC storage.

It should have a multi SD card slot and you can add up to 256GB to it. Some (not all) apps allow you to install to this drive. This machine normally is for email, web browsing ... not for normal day-to-day work.

Regards.
