I have been having problems with the hinge and laptop case since purchasing this laptop. At this point, I can hardly open and close the laptop. How can I get this fixed?

I see there is a class action lawsuit against HP for this very issue. Do I need to join the suit to have HP help make a laptop purchased in November 22. 2023 usable again?
