Product: HP ENVY dv7 Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

This is my second HP laptop and both have had hinges which broke under normal wear and tear,  After reading the forum posts I am convinced this is a design flaw of which HP must have been aware.  I won't make the mistake of replacing my current HP laptop with another one.  Thanks for the forums.  I thought it was just me.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).
