Envy x360

The hinge has snapped on my HP ENVY X360 causing the screen to crack. This happened when I simply closed the lid of my laptop. Upon research I have found many others to complain of the exact same problem. The hinges are cheap and faulty. I am a student so need a laptop for my studies however the current cost to get it fixed is aprox £300-400, all for an issue due to a faulty laptop. Having been in contact with HP support I have been told there is nothing they can do. This is disgraceful and I highly recommend that no one buy this laptop.
