Product: HP ENVY Notebook - m7-n109dx (Touch) (ENERGY STAR)

Hello, I have an hp envy and I’m having the same problem. When I open my screen I hear crunching sound and my screen starts spreading a part. Also very difficult to open or close the computer. It seems like it’s a manufacturing defect because many other people are having the same issues. I spent an hour on the phone just to be transferred to 4 different people that were not able to help because my computer is out of warranty.. The hinge was obviously not designed correctly.
