Solved!

Broken hinge on my laptop

HP Recommended
HP notebook - 17-by1062st
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a HP Notebook – 17 – by1062st; serial number [personal info removed].

One  hinge is broken.  I took it to ubreakifix repair center recommended by your web site.  They told me the cost of the repair would cost more than a new computer.  This computer is just over 2 years old. 

Are there any other options to get this repaired?

The website has only a virtual helper that is of no use in this case.  The other option is the repair site I used that said it cost to much to repair.
