To whom it may concern, I opened my laptop today and the Right hinge broke and cracked the screen. I have read that this is an ongoing problem with this model, how can HP help me correct this defect?

I’m really sorry to hear about the hinge failure on your HP Envy x360. I know how frustrating it is, especially when it leads to screen damage. We understand how important it is to have this corrected properly.

HP does provide support for hinge-related issues when the device is within warranty, and even if the warranty has expired, we can still check all available repair options for you.

To move forward, please share the following details in a private message so we can verify your warranty status and create a service case:

  • Product Number (P/N)
  • Serial Number (S/N)
  • Your region/country

Once we have this information, we’ll review the coverage and advise you on the next steps to get your Envy x360 repaired.
