My laptop's left hinge one day just started crackling when I went to close my laptop.  I don't know how this could have happened because I take extremely good care of my laptop, so it is almost definitely not an error on my part.  What further supports this is that my family has had a similar problem with the left hinge on another HP laptop breaking.  That was an inexpensive laptop that lasted forever so we accepted that something would go wrong eventually, but I have barely had this laptop for over a year and already I cannot close my laptop.  At this point the screen is no longer level, the cover is peeling off of the screen, I cannot close my laptop without the risk of further damage, and the left hinge is essentially useless.  I would appreciate any help especially because it is most likely a craftsmanship issue rather than a mistreatment issue.  Thank you for your time.
