Broken left hinge again and screen wires 15-bs087cl
Was typing on laptop with slightly "bulging screen and keyboard" from last fix, when the screen went black. Could hear laptop still running and noticed wires that are likely hidden in the hinge space sticking out from the back of keyboard faceplate and traveling up to screen, but one wire appears worn and possibly broken inside. I'm assuming providing power to screen. Really a poor design in this hinge and have managed to keep it working with major glue/epoxy because HP did nothing for initial problem, I had to fix it myself. Need to know if I can locate the same case and just transfer all of the "guts" of this machine to a new chassis of the same model.
