That is correct.

 

Just swap the caddy from the hard drive to the SSD.

You're very welcome.

 

I checked the Crucial memory website for the 15-bs model series before I suggested that memory chip, and that was the part number for the 8 GB chip, so it should work just fine.

RAM decided to show up a day early, that's always nice, and it reads perfectly and I'm getting amazing performance compared to just a measly 8 gigs, thank you so much cant belive I was about to waste that money on a kit, ssd should be here by tomorrow.

Meant to reply about the ssd, installed without a hitch. Good sidegrade a i had a 1t before but the 500 gig ssd makes startup and most aspects of the laptop extremely fast,
