Many if not most laptop sold these days have no DVD (optical) drive. Everyone uses the cloud and streaming services for music and video and use USB thumb drives for portable storage. DVD drive is big and heavy and uses a lot of power. Did you not understand this laptop does not come with a DVD drive before you bought?
