HP Envy
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Dear all,

I have a HP Envy x360 model 13-ay0505na which I bought mainly to connect to a dell hub and 2 dell monitors via the USB-C display port.

This set up worked perfectly with my previous Dell laptop and other laptops.

with the HP the connection using the USB-C port works always and instantly for video and sound but only after few attempts for charging. I do not get any error message on screen.

Since it works with other laptops I believe the problem is with my new HP laptop.

Do you have any suggestion?

Regards,

F

yes they are compatible. I bought this HP laptop on purpose. I do not understand why there is this intermittent fault with charging.

If I buy a HP hub I could exclude any incompatibility.

Though if incompatible it should not work at all?
