I previously used an HP Probook 450 G2 prior to my possession of this topic's laptop. The x360's Specifications page does not list a cpu upgrade section for determining if I can upgrade its processor, and with what. I've been locking for the socket type of it, and my 450 G2's, since its i7 cpu is still in there. I have no reason to believe that it is damaged, and am trying to determine if I can install it in the x360 convertible, but can not explicitly determine this.
Are the two sockets compatible enough for me to replace a:
"1.7GHz 4th generation Intel Core i5-4210U Processor with SC Turbo Boost up to 2.7GHz"
with the cpu from a laptop that's said to have the following?
"Processor: Intel Core i7-5500U (5th Gen)
Clock-speed: 2.4 Ghz
Graphic Processor: AMD Radeon R5 M255
Graphics Memory: 2 GB "
If not, are there i7 CPUs that I can install into this laptop as an upgrade? The quad-core might work for work, but I am a casual gamer, and need just a bit more performance for a game I'm currently playing to play it with a higher LOD to stop texture popping. It processes the graphical effects jsut fine, but the demand of loading in terrain at the speed of a sprint, let alone the speed of a horse's gallop causes it to lag if I have lod turned up even just a bit.

No sorry here is the Manual:
See p. 18-19. When the processor is specified as part of the system board it means the processor is soldered to the board.
In fact you already have the system board with the best CPU available so there is no upgrade path at all even to swap in a higher spec motherboard.
Post back with any questions but please accept as solution if this is the answer you needed.

My laptop now come out (EFI Network 0 for IPv4《20-1A-06-FE-12-93》boot failed.
Your disk-drive has failed.
Take the computer to a qualified computer technician, to replace the disk-drive, and to re-install Windows.
