Under normal usage with all exhaust vents unblocked the CPU when at maximum usage 100%, hits 98 degrees celsius, and the CPU has a maximum thermal limit of 100 degrees celsius, this occurs when i play a game that takes full advantage of the hardware, star wars battlefront 2, as i have a GTX 1070 this causes slight throttling and holds back other hardware,
I have allready spoke to HP on the phone, and on this forum, and through live chat and have had the machine remotley operated on so that software could be installed, and have had the mahcine sent to HP which i assume cleaned the heat sinks and re applied thermal paste, i have only had this machine back for a while and checked the temperatures,
i feel that this might not be normal and something is wrong, i would appreciate any help or advice, thanks.

Hi, yes I had another post which was solved, I had the laptop sent in to be tested and cleaned, and it was passed and it was sent back to me, I was surprised to see what seems to be very high temperatures a little while after this, and I have only had the laptop back for a short time, I’ll contact HP on the phone and tell them this and see what they say,
thank you for your help I appreciate it.
