I got a message from the HP Support Assistant saying my battery needs to be calibrated. I went through the procedure as outlined (charged to 100%, ran the memory test until the computer shut down (about 2 hrs,) charged to 100% again and left if plugged in for several hours before using it.) I rerun the battery test and it still says the battery needs to be calibrated. Did I miss something in the calibration procedure? Will the results be any different if I run it again. FWIW, I typically keep my battery charge between 40% and 80-85%. I rarely charge it to 100% and also rarely let it fall below 25%. Right now the charge is at 90% and time remaining shows 5 hr 22 min.

Hi @lmacmil,
I would recommend trying and use it and see if it gets worse or drains quickly, then it might need service or replace the battery.
Keep us posted if anything in the future.
Take care and have a good day.
