Someone claiming to be from HP called me claiming that they can tell my computer has been compromised. They know alot my specific hardware and its history. (I contacted them a couple years ago when I had issues when my laptop was new which they fixed remotely) Since then I've had McAfee Security software protecting my computers, full scans show no concerns.

Your concerns are justified. It's a fake HP Agent. Ignore them or hang up on them. You can hardly get HP to answer the phone so you can be sure they don't have people who call customers out of the blue.
