Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

I bought this computer recently and generally I love it however, I am astonished at how poor the image is that I get from the camera. I am a coach and produce my own videos but the quality of the image from this computer is so bad I am using my samsung phone to produce anything up to standard. I am so disappointed. Is there anything I can do to address this.

@CharlieMac3

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:

Firstly, update the webcam driver:

  1. Make sure you are connected to the Internet.

  2. In Device Manager, double-click Imaging devices.

  3. Right-click your webcam or video device, then select Update Driver Software.

  4. In the Update Driver Software window, select Search automatically for updated driver software.

    Figure : Update Driver Software window

    Update Driver Software window
  5. After the message, Windows has successfully updated your driver software, or The best driver software for your device is already installed, click Close.

  6. Open Cam to see if the application opens and the driver update resolves the error message.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
