Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

 

1. I have upgraded my OS from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. Since then my Camera and Microphone Stopped working.

2. Also, does my model ( HP Envy dv7-7323cl ) has Drivers support from HP for windows 10? Because when I looking for Drivers on Hp website and selecting my laptop model its gives only two options to download drivers for Windows 8 and 8.1.

 

I don't know if going back windows 7 is a good idea?

Hi,

I found the issue. It wasn't about any Windows 10 or any driver.  I recently replaced the screen of my laptop and while replacing it the technician missed one tiny plug to insert into the respective socket near the Webcam area . And that plug is responsible for the functionality of mic and webcam.

Hello ,

 

please ensure you create a system restore point on the notebook and backup complete data.

please check the issue with mutiple applications 

 

uninstall the camera drivers from device manager 

 

install the camera drivers from HP RECOVERY MANAGER 

 

if not then update camera and bios for default OS from HP WEBSITE
