@Mahesh_1833, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your Victus by HP 15.6 inch Gaming Laptop 15-fa000 having camera issues after an update!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Since you've already tried updating, reinstalling drivers, resetting camera settings, and even reinstalling the update, here are the next steps:

Check for Windows Camera Privacy Settings Again

Go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera

Ensure "Camera access" and "Let apps access your camera" are turned on.

Scroll down to "Desktop apps access your camera" and enable it.

Manually Install an Older Camera Driver

If the update caused an incompatibility, try rolling back to an older driver:

Open Device Manager (Win + X > Device Manager).

Expand Imaging Devices or Cameras.

Right-click your camera and select Properties.

Go to the Driver tab and click Roll Back Driver (if available).

If Roll Back is unavailable, manually install an older driver:

Visit HP support page and download an older camera driver.

Install it and restart your laptop.

Check Windows Camera App & Microsoft Store Updates

Open the Camera app.

If it still shows error F4244, go to Microsoft Store > Library and update all apps, especially the Camera app.

Let me know how it goes!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
