Product: OMEN 15-ek0000 Laptop PC series (1A842AV)

Hi, can HP Omen 15-ek0039nw support 65 Watt charging? I have Intel Configuration and i want to buy 65W charger, but I don't know if my laptop can support 65W charging. Can somebody help me?

Your HP Omen 15-ek0039nw was sold with a 200-watt power adapter, most likely with HP p/n: L00818-850 "200W ADAPTER PFC SMART SLIM".

 

Using a much lower wattage charger is not a good idea.  This charger will likely 'run' very hot and could become a fire hazard.

 

I would strongly recommend sticking with HP's prescribed 200 watt charging wattage, such as this purchase example via Amazon Germany: 200W 19.5V 10.3A Laptop Charger Power Supply Charging Cable HP Omen 15 17 Pavilion Gaming 15 17 Envy....
