Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a EliteBook 8540p it doesnt have a webcam installed, Im technical skilled so i can open the bezel LCD and install the board, but I need to know if would work

or if there is a physical difference between the 8540p with cam and the 8540p without it (besides the cam)

First thing you would need to do is remove the LCD/LED bezel.

 

Four screws on top and Two on the bottom.

Check the LCD/LED sub-board on the bottom just behind the HP emblem for the camera connector???"

If the connector is there then you can install a camera.

 

This is the camera and cable at the top of the LCD/LED.

You will need a new LCD/LED bezel, camera and cable.

Thank you very much for the post, I have installed the cam already buy the system dont see it, 

I've connected the camera to the sensor light boar where supposed to go. But when I try to install the driver, the system dont see the cam.

I ve Connected as you show in the pictures but the system is not detecting the camera.

this was a new camera I purchased, it came with the cable. let me try ordering another camera may be could be defective or is there any information about the part number of the cable and camera?
