Hello. Have just received this laptop as a gift and need more memory and ram. I am wondering if this laptop has 2 storage slots and if the second one is a Nvme/m.2 or a 2.5” sata? Also is SODIMM DDR4 RAM compatible? I believe there is 1x8gb stick so if I add another 8gb of the same speed it will work out to be 16gb. Thanks for your help

I reviewed your post and I understand that you want to know whether you can upgrade the RAM and storage on the computer.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

Yes, you can add a second hard drive to the computer. The maximum supported RAM on your computer is 32GB.

Refer to the below service guide for detailed information.

I hope that answers your question and you have a great day!

Hello and thanks for your answer. I’m still not sure what sort of hard drive I need to purchase. My laptop currently has a 256gb SSD installed but I don’t know whether it is a 2.5” drive or an M.2 drive. Could you please clarify? Thanks

You can install a 2.5" SATA hard drive on the computer.
