Yes you can.

Service Manual

It has the ability to have dual storage in other words a hard drive + an M.2 SSD.

It can take either a SATA-3 M.2 or a PCIe/NVME kind and you want the latter as they are about 4 times faster.

Start on p. 31 to remove the back cover and then you see this:

red = M.2 green = HDDred = M.2 green = HDD

This is a good option for an M.2 disk:

hi,

This info should have been added on the System Specification List :(, thanks for your previous answer, for some reason I'm still a tiny bit worried if there is support for such storage, I've been doing my own research and problem is there's no review on this laptop CS0067TX.

so, it's just not included bc of price ig.

WD Black NVMe SSD (2018)

https://www.wdc.com/products/internal-ssd/wd-black-nvme-ssd.html#WDS500G2X0C

This is supported by HP Pavilion 15 CS0067TX, right???

Soooo, I'm guessing HP Pavilion 15 CS0067TX that included the 256GB is (M.2 SSD) and not the NVMe SSD. Thank goodness I didn't buy that laptop, best if I upgrade manually. CS0067TX is what I plan on buying in a few days.

Greatly appreciate your help.

Your conclusions are getting you into trouble here. The 15-cc600 series only supports SATA M.2 disks not NVME so that WD Black would not work.

These are all M.2 disks...M.2 is the socket. They can be SATA or NVME depending on how they are wired internally.

The 15-cs0067tx definitely would take the WD Balck M.2

I'm happy to give advice but can't be responsible for your research you do on your own.

Contacted HP on FB and they said YES!, it supports the following:

M.2, PCIe, NVMe, value, solid-state drive:

from 256 GB to 512 GB

And

Intel Optane (3D Xpoint) Solution, PCIe, Gen3x2, M.2, solid-state drive:
16 GB (Optane memory module) + 1 TB, 5400 rpm, 7.2mm hard drive

Yes the 15-cs....I thought you said you were buying the 15-cc600 series which will not take the NVME disk.

I need to add the 1TB SSD to a new  HP Elite 14" or HP ZBook 14" laptop. Is it possible? Is it possible for me to add this SSD to any 14inch laptop?

Thanks, Shri
