I have a HP ENVY X360 - 13-ar0021au computer which has a built in RAM of 8GB. Is it possible to change the RAM to a bigger value. I understand that the RAM is not removable, but is there another way?

@majorbloodnock,

Welcome to our HP User Forum!

Unfortunately, it appears that your HP ENVY X360 - 13-ar0021au (6XJ08PA), according to: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06528795, has been fitted with "Memory form factor: On-board" and comes either with fixed 8GB or 16GB RAM.

This is also confirmed here: https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/hp---compaq/envy-x360-13-ar0021au, and I quote: "Standard memory: 4GB to 16GB non-removable".

And here: https://www.xda-developers.com/hp-envy-x360-2022-ram-storage-upgrade/, quote: "unfortunately, everything [RAM] is soldered to the motherboard on the HP Envy x360 (2022)."

Hope this was helpful.

Kind Regards,
