The mystery continues.....

 

I have ordered a 45W USB-C PD charger (needed one anyway) that I will give a try on my laptop. 

The AC charger it came with is also 45W, we will see!

I'll be sure to post the results on here so we can have more info to work with.

Hello all,

 

I have a very interesting update. 

I purchased this charger from amazon. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B071Z959VX/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

 

It matches the 45W rating of the cylindrical style, more "old school" charger my HP laptop came with. IT WORKS!

It charges the previously mentioned HP laptop I have. The charging notification light still comes on with either orange (charging) or white (fully charged).

 

I think it's awesome! One less adapter to bring with me when I travel. Hope this helps! Thanks for all yours.

HI there  ! I have same issue for  My Hp envy 13T. I want keep my Hp original power supply in house. And Take a USB-C or PD 45W output AC adaptor for working or Travel ....

Does it can plug in any USB-C plug ?
