Envy x360 13-ag0002na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi guys,

I am hoping that I can charge my new Envy x360 via it's USB-C port. According to the tech specs it supports Power Delivery via it's USB-C port, and I believe that means that it can be charged through it. However, I am a bit off put by seeing other answers here where people suggest that HP generally supply devices that can charge via USB-C with a USB-C charger, and my laptop came with a traditional barrel charger.  I don't have an existing USB-C charger to even test it with; at best I have a phone charger and a USB-C cable (which does not charge the laptop btw) but I suspect that no matter what a 2W charger wouldn't work anyway. So first thigns first; can my laptop be charged via USB-C at all?

Now, if my laptop can be charged through it's USB-C port, can someone suggest a power bank that will definitely work with it? And one that can deliver a good amount of power? Power Delivery powerbanks are expensive, and I am wary of just buying one and hoping that it'll do what I want. So if anyone can suggest a bank that they can confirm that works and provides a good amount of juice both in terms of total power available, and speed of charging; that would be greatly appreciated.

I have a long trip away in the coming month, about 14 hours traveling each way. There will be some amount of sockets available on the way, but between my plane and changing trains a lot I am not confident that mains power will be available, at least not constantly. Ideally I want to have a powerbank that I can keep in my carry-on bag and charge my laptop really whenever the opportunity arises, particularly while I'm waiting for conections etc. Of course, this may be a forlorn hope, but just getting a bit more juice and a bit more lifespan would be a huge boon for me.

So, can I USB-C charge, and if so what powerbanks will work?

which says it supports Power Delivery that means you can charge it using USB-C. HP has the following product but it is not compatible with your machine
