I want to expand the 4GB DDR4 RAM running at 2133 MHz. Can I expand to 8 GB total by adding a 4GB additional stick? If so, where are the slots?

RAM is on board, but can be upgraded to 16g max (two 8gb sticks in the two slots on board)
You need to do major disassembly. Will void warranty if you break something in the process of upgrade
Page 1: Get the exact same configuration speed and voltage module as given in manual and each other to guarantee compatibility
Crucial, Samsung, Kingston are good brands
Get help from certified HP technician to do it

Hi,
Looks like you can't because RAM is on-board. Please check pages 1 and 56 of the following manual

Regards.

I called the HP Service Center today and they quoted around 8000 for 4GB DDR4 2133 Mhz RAM. This is humongous!
I took the laptop to two other local retailers and looking at the motherboard, they asked me to take the laptop to the authorized service centre for upgrading because they didn't have the appropriate tools.
It is just getting worse with each passing day. Upgrading RAM is such a big hassle on this machine. What are my options?
Thanks
