Elite Book 840 G2
250 Gb SSD Hard Drive is working fine. Just want to upgrade to 1TB SSD hard drive as I have spare one.
What is the best solution ?
to change the hard drive from 250GB to 1TB internal internally.
OR
Use 1TB as External Drive externally and not to touch the laptop original configuration.
Thanks

You can change 256GB to 1TB or 2TB with the same of existing type of SSD with only different capacity. Please use Device Manager to see what is it now then go out to buy.
Regards.

The Samsung SSD 256GB MZ7PD256HCGM-000H7 is older Samsung 840 series. It should be OK to use newer series 860
