Hi,
The following link shows its specs:
http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03905124
and here is some information on this processor:
Type | CPU / Microprocessor |
Market segment | Mobile |
Family | AMD E-Series |
Model number | E-300 |
CPU part number | EME300GBB22GV is an OEM/tray microprocessor |
Frequency | 1300 MHz |
Clock multiplier | 6.5 |
Package | 413-ball lidless micro-BGA (FT1) |
Socket | BGA413 |
Size | 0.75" x 0.75" / 1.9cm x 1.9cm |
Looks like you can't upgrade the CPU because those BGA of processors normally are soldered to the motherboard.
Regards.

Hi,
Unfortunately no, you can't overclock it. One way to speed up the machine is to use SSD but again, please check price/performance and other WORKs before making decision.
Regards.

I am using a HP Pavilion Dv7-3065dx it has a AMD Turion II Ultra Dual Core Mobile M600, its currently my only laptop as my old (2002) computer has a failing hardrive so I just went completely laptop.
