HP 15-dw0037wm Laptop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am choosing between two entry level HP Laptops, but want to make sure I can upgrade to SSD.  I like the HP 15-dw0037wm Laptop but cannot find if there are two drive bays or one, and what type of SSD (M2 or other) I can fit in there.  I have downloaded the manual but still cannot figure it out.  Sorry, not the smartest knife in the computer drawer here. 🙂

Thanks for any and all assistance anyone can provide.

Here is the Manual:

Manual

Start on p. 30 to remove the bottom cover and inside it is configured as so:

M.2 SSD in red circleM.2 SSD in red circle

Theoretically you have a slot for an M.2 SSD and it can be the fastest kind-NVME. BUT with xxwm (Walmart) models the slot is sometimes absent. So you have to open it to be 100% sure. Even if you can't put an M.2 gumstick SSD in it you can replace the HDD with a 2.5 inch SATA SSD. So 100% you can put some kind of SSD in it.

Awesome Huffer thanks much!  Forgot about the Walmart shiftiness.  LOL.  Either way I'm upgrading.  Thanks again for great data and pic reference!
