Hello guys, nice to meet you. I have one problem with my hp device, so my factory hdd started failing and I will need to replace it. My device is out of warranty so in my mind passed an idea to upgrade it to better one. So I want to upgrade to 1TB SSD Samsung EVO 860 SATA III. Can you tell me is it possible or I should get just a 7200rpm HDD. Thanks and best regards!

There is basically no comparision between an SSD even a SATA SSD and any kind of mechanical spinning hard drive. Data transfer is roughly 150 Mbps with the 7200 rpm hard drive and more like 500 Mbps with the SSD. Boot time is way faster and everything is smoother and more enjoyable with the SSD. See pages 31-35 of the Manual here:
Just put the SSD in place of the hard drive. Post back with any other questions and please accept as solution if it is the info you needed.

Hello, @Huffer thanks for the fast answer I will mark it as solution but I have two little questions. 1. I know the ssds are just chips and they can die due to electric shock but it is laptoo with batery so it is not problem right? 2. I should put the ssd in the caddy from the died hard right? 3. Do you think it is worth the 200$ more I will give insread of the 7200 rpm will the pc be faster than now? Thanks and best regards! (Some silly questions but 🤔)

Never had an SSD die from electric shock. Yes the SSD is the same shape as a hard drive and has the mounting holes and SATA connectors in exactly the same place so yes it fits in the same space as a hard drive. You should be able to get a 500 or 512 gig 2.5 inch SATA SSD for under $125 like this:
I just saw a 1 TB for $177 which is a very good deal. Not $200 more than a hard drive or even close to that. Yes worth every penny.

Hey thanks for the answer. My look stoped on this, I think its a high-qualited product with many opportuinities: https://www.samsung.com/us/computing/memory-storage/solid-state-drives/ssd-860-evo-2-5--sata-iii-1tb...
I have one big question, I have just made a bootable windows 10 USB with the media creation tool. So when I the moment to replace the hdd, what shortcuts should I use to enter the bios and boot menu and what kind of stuff should I enable to start the instalation. I think that is all for now. Best regards!

That's the Cadillac and for a 1 TB that is a great price.
Turn off, put in the bootable thumb drive then turn on....tap esc immediately a couple times get into the menu...F9 is boot options and it should show the thumb drive as an option. Pick it and let the Windows installer guide you.
