HP Notebook - 15-f211wm (Touch) (ENERGY STAR)

i am thinking of upgrading my Windows 10 to Windows 11. When I checked if I could upgrade it said my processor was not supported. Can I upgrade my processor? I have an HP 15 notebook with an Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU N2840 @ 2.16GHz 2.16 GHz
Installed RAM 8.00 GB (7.89 GB usable)

The processor is an integral part of the motherboard and cannot be upgraded.

HP did not offer any motherboards that support W11 capable processors.

Your notebook also does not have a TPM 2.0 security device which is another of Microsoft's hardware requirements to run W11.

You can try W11 out and if you don't like the way it works, you have 10 days to go back to W10 as long as you don't delete any of the W11 upgrade files or the Windows.old folder.

If you are interested in installing W11 on your PC as is, you can read this discussion for how I upgraded several HP and Dell notebook and desktop PC's that did not meet the W11 hardware requirements to W11 22H2/22H3

You have to use the version of the Rufus utility that I zipped up and attached in the discussion (v3.18).

If the in-place upgrade fails, you should be able to clean install W11 using the bootable W11 installation flash drive you made with Rufus.
