HP only has the service manual for the 15-eh-1xxx model series available.

Maintenance and Service Guide

Chapter 1 has the memory upgrade info, and the NVMe SSD drive capacities HP offered in the model series.

If you want to install more than 16 GB of memory you can run this command to see if that would be possible:

1. In the search box, search for cmd and click Run as administrator.

This will open the command prompt.

2. Once command prompt is opened, type wmic memphysical get maxcapacityEx and press the enter key.

There, it will show the maximum RAM capacity your PC's motherboard can support.

The capacity is shown as Kilobytes, so you have to convert it to Gigabytes by dividing the number provided in the report by 1,048,576.

I run this command but it's showing only 16gb can i upgrade upto 32 gb ?

And what about SSD?

HP Recommended

You should be able to install 2 x 16 GB of DDR4-3200 CL22 memory and a NVMe SSD upgrade to 4 TB as long as the drive is single sided so it fits in the slot.

If I upgrade it to 16×2 ram and 1-2 tb SSD will it cause heating or overheating or does it has any side effects? Like memory or SSD may face computable issues something like that

I'll upgrade with crucial ram and samsung SSD will it cause any problems?

And can i install ddr5 ram?

And thanks bro❤️

HP Recommended

You're very welcome.

Everything should work fine with Crucial memory and a Samsung q.

Just be aware that if you buy a Gen 4.0 SSD, it will not run at its maximum advertised read/write speeds from your notebook's Gen 3 0 SSD slot.

So

16×2 crucial 32mhz

Samsung 1tb gen 3

Is it the best?

Or can I upgrade ram to ddr5 or go with ddr4?

Here's the Crucial memory report for your notebook's model series:

HP Pavilion 15-eh2000 | Memory RAM & SSD Upgrades | Crucial IN

I don't know about 64 GB of memory, but I see no reason why 32 GB of memory wouldn't work despite what the Windows report indicates.

You can only install DDR4-3200 CL22 memory in your notebook.

DDR5 memory won't even fit in the slot.

Regarding the Samsung SSD generation...Get a Gen 4 SSD if the price is close to the Gen 3 one.

If the Gen 3 drive costs considerably less then get that one.

The reason you may want to consider a gen 4 SSD is if you want to transfer the drive to a newer notebook in the future where the SSD slot is Gen 4.0.

Its only showing max it can support is 16

16 is for single channel or both combined 16?

Please tell me it's my last question
