Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, I was wondering if I can upgrade the CPU unit of my laptop here, I already upgraded the RAM, storage units to 2tb HDD and 128gb SSD

I was wondering if I can upgrade the CPU unit and what are the compatible parts with the motherboard, and wither is the unit soldered into the board or is it detachable

Thanks in advance.

What is your HP 15 Notebook PC ? For machines which are around 3 years old or less the answer is sorry you can't, CPU is soldered to the System board which contains

 (a) Motherboard,

 (b) CPU with integrated video,

 (c) Video card (if applicable),

 (d) Operating system (you can't reuse the old license)

All above 3 or 4 components are on one piece of hardware called System board. That means you can upgrade to other CPU (if available) but very expensive.

Regards.
